5 Weeks of Family Fun on Wednesday Nights
5 Weeks of Family Fun on Wednesday Nights
Camp: Fire is returning this summer, and we can’t wait to gather together again! Camp: Fire is a fun-filled Wednesday night experience designed for the whole family. Each evening begins with a delicious meal at 6 PM, followed by family-friendly lessons & games at 7 PM in the sanctuary. Families are encouraged to join in the fun by dressing up for each week’s theme night — one of the highlights from last year was seeing everyone’s creative outfits! Whether you come dressed up or just come as you are, Camp: Fire is all about fellowship, laughter, and growing together in God’s Word.
Signing up is required for the meals, but registration this year is a breeze! You only need to sign up once to select the dates you plan to attend. Each week, you’ll receive a quick text confirmation to help us prepare for meals. If your plans change, just let us know so we can keep our food count accurate. You must sign up at least one week prior to the next meal to be included. We hope you and your family will make plans to join us for CampFire this summer!
Weekly Themes & Menus
Our first night of CampFire will focus on what happened after sin entered the world in the Garden of Eden. We’ll learn how Adam and Eve’s disobedience brought separation from God, and how the flaming sword guarding Eden was a reminder of the seriousness of sin. Even in that moment, however, God already had a plan for redemption. This lesson will point families to the hope we have in Jesus — the One who makes a way for us to be restored to God.
Theme: Everyone is invited to wear their craziest hair styles and silliest socks! Have fun with bright colors, silly combinations, and creative looks as we kick off CampFire!
Menu: Join us for Breakfast at 6 PM (Pancakes, Sausage, Grits Bowl, and Fruit) 🔔 Deadline For Meal Sign Up: May 27
This week at CampFire, we’ll step into the story of Moses and the burning bush, where God met him in a very ordinary moment and turned it into something holy and life-changing. Through the fire that did not consume the bush, God revealed His holiness and called Moses to a specific purpose: to go back to Egypt and lead His people out of bondage. We’ll focus on how God still speaks today—calling His people, revealing His presence, and setting hearts apart for His plans.
Theme: It’s time for a 70's Disco! Think bright colors, bell bottoms, flashy patterns, gold accents, and anything that feels fun, bold, and over-the-top. Families are encouraged to dress up and enjoy the night together as we celebrate the truth that God still calls His people in powerful and personal ways.
Menu: Join us at 6 PM for Spaghetti & Meatballs, Salad, Garlic Bread, and Pound Cake 🔔 Deadline For Meal Sign Up: June 3
This week at CampFire, we’ll look at how God guided His people through the wilderness with a pillar of fire by night and a cloud by day. When the Israelites left Egypt, they quickly found themselves in unfamiliar territory—surrounded by uncertainty and unable to see the path ahead. In His faithfulness, God did not leave them to wander alone. Instead, He revealed His presence in a visible way, leading them step by step through the darkness. This lesson will remind us that God’s presence still guides His people today, especially when life feels unclear or overwhelming.
Theme: We’re going Western & Old-Fashioned! Break out your plaid shirts, overalls, denim, cowboy boots, hats, and anything that gives a rustic, country feel. It’s a fun, relaxed night to enjoy together as we remember that God is the One who faithfully leads His people—then and now.
Menu: Join us at 6 PM for Burgers, Fries, and Ice Cream 🔔 Deadline For Meal Sign Up: June 10
This week at CampFire takes us to Mount Carmel, where the prophet Elijah stood before the people of Israel and challenged the prophets of Baal to a powerful test. In a moment that left no room for doubt, God answered Elijah’s prayer by sending fire from heaven, consuming the sacrifice and proving once and for all that He alone is the true and living God. This lesson will focus on God’s power, His faithfulness, and the truth that He hears and responds when His people call on Him.
Theme: Tonight's theme is all about Sports & Athletics! Dress like a player or wear your favorite team's jersey, hat, or anything sporty! Whether you represent a school, college, or pro team—or just come dressed like you are player in the game—this night is all about energy, teamwork, and celebrating the God who shows Himself mighty on behalf of His people.
Menu: Join us at 6 PM for Chicken Tenders, Mac & Cheese, Green Beans, Biscuits, and Rice Crispy Treats 🔔 Deadline For Meal Sign Up: June 17
Our final week of CampFire brings us to Pentecost, when the disciples were gathered together in one place and the Holy Spirit came upon them in a powerful and unmistakable way. Scripture tells us that what looked like “tongues of fire” rested on each of them, filling them with the Holy Spirit and empowering them for the mission God had set before them. This moment marks the beginning of the Church’s bold witness to the world, reminding us that God doesn’t just call His people—He equips them with His power to live it out.
Theme: With Independence Day coming up this weekend, we’re celebrating with an All-American / Patriotic evening! Come dressed in red, white, and blue, or any festive patriotic attire. Think stars, stripes, flag colors, and classic Americana styles as we close out CampFire with a night focused on God’s power and the mission of the Holy Spirit in our lives.
Menu: Join us at 6 PM for BBQ Sandwiches, Baked Beans, Potato Salad, and Patriotic Parfaits 🔔 Deadline For Meal Sign Up: June 24
