The History of Our Church

Our congregation has not always been known as Enoch Creek Church. For our first 13 years, we were known as Antioch Church. Our congregation met in a small wooden building located across the street from our current location. Antioch was founded by Pastor Mickey and Sister Cathy Corbett after God placed a burden on their hearts to plant a church in the Lake Park area. After searching for several months, God opened the door through Brother Louis Herring, who allowed them to use an abandon old church building. On December 7, 2003 they had their first service Sunday service with about 40 people in attendance. Since that time our church has been blessed beyond measure as we have grown in our relationship with Christ and in size. In 2013, when Pastor Mickey retired, his son Zack Corbett was asked to lead the church. Pastor Zack had been ordained as youth/associate pastor since 2009 and humbly accepted the call. Since our opening, God taken us from humble beginnings in the old, one roomed church house to an all new facility that sits on our new campus of over 25 acres. God has done wonderful things here at Enoch Creek and we are believing the best is yet to come!
